MAOA will continue the plan of action involving control and eradication of noxious weeds from the Madison Addition consistent with past efforts.  Spraying for noxious weeds has long been a priority of property owners dating back many years.  Of particular concern:  Hoary Alyssum, Knapweed, Yellow Toad Flax and Thistle.  Weather permitting, this year’s first application should occur toward the end of June with the second application targeted for the first or second week of August.  As in the past, the weed sprayer team will place their alert placards at entrance points of the Madison Addition.  As these dates approach, owners should consider restricting outdoor access to pets, etc. We’ll do our best to post further updates as necessary.
